BRC will keep you Rolling through the recall!

Here at BRC we are not happy about this recall, either. The idea of bikes out of service is bad, but a crank failing on a ride is even worse!

Shimano has a recall in process on their 11-speed Hollow Tech cranks manufactured between 2012 and 2019 and branded as Ultegra or Dura-Ace.

BRC's mission through this process is to keep you riding and not have your bike stay with us any longer than required.

We don't care where you bought your bike, we want to help you through this:

  • Free loaner cranks if yours has to go back to Shimano. We proactively bought a batch of cranksets to loan out! If we are out of the cranks to loan, free loaner bike for up to one week.
  • $20 in-store gift card if your bike needs retained for crank inspection in-house (we hate for you to leave your bike, as well).

If you have any doubt if your bike is involved in this recall, stop by any of our stores and one of our Shimano Certified Technicians can help sort it all out for you.

Our goal is to keep you rolling!

Loaner cranksets and bikes are available while supplies last and subject to cancellation without notice.
