--------------------------------------------------------------------

From early April until sometime in September, we’ll ride through the beautiful Fauquier County countryside on less-traveled paved roads. Ride distance, elevation gain, and difficulty will vary from week-to-week.

Rides will begin at 6:00, until the fall when they change back to 5:30 when daylight hours begin to wane. Riders will meet up in the parking lot behind the BRC Warrenton shop.

PLEASE BE AWARE: these are group rides, they are NOT beginner rides. Riders will be expected to maintain average speeds of at least 16-17 mph. Although some riders may ride at a faster pace, we will regroup occasionally and no one will be left behind.

Riders should make sure their bikes are well-maintained and ready to roll to avoid mechanical breakdowns during the ride. Be sure to carry a spare tube, pump or CO2 inflator, tire levers, multi-tool, and patch kit, at a minimum. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED, taillights are highly recommended, and a front blinking light is a good idea.

Riders are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to download the routes to their cycling computers or print out cue sheets before riding.
